Shige’s provides the best service every time. AAA told me I needed a new alternator, but after their thorough inspection I just needed a needed a new battery. They saved me a bunch of money. I highly recommend Shige’s.

John has taken care of my car and all of my parent’s cars for years. He and his highly skilled staff work with honesty and integrity. I have total confidence in his diagnostic skills and know that I will receive an honest and fair estimate of the cost of my repairs. He always tells me which repairs need to be done now and which can wait. He sincerely cares about customer satisfaction as evidenced by his persistent attempts to successfully solve the air conditioning problem in my 2003 Honda Pilot. Additionally, there have been a few times that he thoughtfully provided complimentary repairs to my car. I will happily never visit a dealership again. Friendly-trustworthy neighborhood shop. Car dealers will use scare tactics to sell you service that you don’t need, but you won’t find a money-sucking adviser at this shop. No sir.

Hmm where to start because every moment with Shige was beyond amazing! First, I contacted John (owner) over yelp and he just went beyond my (or anyone's) expectation with his quick, prompt and caring messages. After two messages back and forth, I immediately knew that they can put my car back on the road so I went to drop my car off right away. Rigo assisted me from beginning to end and his customer care plus mechanic skill was definitely above par (aka perfect). Juliette even provided me with rides back and forth and she made me feel very comfortable and safe both ways. Since I was struggling to find the origin of the problem for a month, I was SO delighted to hear that my car has finally been repaired. I ended my work at 6 but they even went after shop hours to wait for me to pick up the car and also provided me with a nice Shige key chain with a nice, firm handshake and they only charged me the diagnostic fee which was far beyond what I was expecting to pay so I was 100% satisfied. My car's been running better than ever since I repaired it and I am finally worry-free of my car. Thank you Shige and John for your wonderful service! Bring your car here for any auto repair/maintenance as they will make sure to bring their full attention and care into your car and bring you great end result. I already recommended to three people.

I cannot say enough about the amazing customer service, professionalism, and overall outstanding quality of work at Shiges! ...I'll do my best to keep this review concise! I recently moved to South Bay Area and our family mechanic (of over 25 years) is now too far away, so I was forced to find a new mechanic closer to home. I brought my 2008 Infinity G35 to Shiges, after work gone wrong at the hands of other careless "mechanics". I was distraught over the damage to my vehicle and felt hopeless. However, after the first conversation with the staff at Shiges, I knew my car was in the best hands. They did not rush their evaluation and communicated clearly with my husband and i throughout the process. It was apparent the staff cared just as much about my car, as I did... imagine that?!? I was literally in tears of frustration when I dropped off my car and was crying tears of joy when I picked it up. :) I'm beyond thankful to the entire staff for their kindness. Upon pickup of my car, the entire repair process was explained to us, with photos of each step! I'm convinced that Tony, the tech who tackled my repair, is a wizard! His magic saved me several thousands of dollars and immeasurable stress. Im positive this work would not have even been entertained by any other shop. John, the shop owner/president, is honest, professional, and compassionate- traits which i find extremely difficult to come by in business nowadays.
