Shige's is awesome. I've been a customer for 3 years now and would not bring my Honda Accord to anyone else. Rarely do you find an auto repair shop that is not there to scheme you out of every penny. Shige's is exceptionally fair. John, the manager, will make recommendations, but he never pushes or sells unnecessary services. In fact, he has told me before not to be too aggressive with all my services because I'd just be wasting my money. Being that I am someone who knows next to nothing about cars, it wouldn't be too hard to gouge me of my money. But the fact that John has turned that down before is very telling of his character and the culture at Shige's. You walk out of there feeling like you've received honest service and treatment. This is a mom-and-pop shop so it has a cozy, family feel to it. Quite a different experience from the other typical repair shops....this is no typical shop because you can trust them. These folks know what they are doing, they are good at what they do and they know how to treat people. Highly recommended.

My parents have been going to Shige's for over 15 years and it's the only place that I've ever taken my Hondas to have work done (not that they need much work!). Shige and his son are completely trustworthy, prices are reasonable, and they get repairs done quickly! I will continue to bring my cars here as long as they are in business!!

Could it be true? An HONEST mechanic? Yep! I moved to the San Gabriel Valley after going here for years, and STILL bring my car down to them. (I couldn't find someone I could trust as much as them) The entire family is kind and friendly, and Shige and John will patiently explain what's going on with your car to you.

Shige's is the best! Always honest and willing to take the time to explain what's needed on my car. These guys go above and beyond -- when an idiotic dealership forgot to replace my oil filler cap after an oil change (resulting in my engine being doused in oil) they literally wiped my engine down by hand!John (Shige's son) is so trustworthy that I'm planning on buying a Nissan or Toyota instead of the BMW I want, just so I can keep bringing my car to Shige's. They get my highest recommendation!

Their pricing is competitive and quality of work is top notch. They will take the time to explain to you what you need to fix and what things can wait.
